How gospel singer Hlengiwe is set to take her talents abroad

I come bearing good news. My heart had been on cloud nine when I saw an announcement the past few weeks of the gospel artist, Hlengiwe Ntombela on Instagram.

She announced that she had been signed to the US record label Motown Gospel, based in Nashville. Motown Gospel is a division of Capitol CMG/Universal Music Group. It produced gospel artists including Brian Courtney Wilson, Anna Golden, Kelly Price, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and many other successful artists.

I’m honoured really. When such a prestigious label recognises your craft and wants to partner with you, it’s humbling. I’m excited to become one of them as my music is taken across the globe.

Hlengiwe

She is one of my favorite artists, and I could not stop marveling to see how God had been lifting her to be where she is today. From humble beginnings, Hlengiwe began her career as a backing vocalist. Then joined Joyous Celebration, one of the biggest gospel groups in South Africa, she later worked on her solo album, which was nominated by the Crown gospel Awards.
“It was an amazing experience”, she said.
One of the good traits of Hlengiwe is her versatility. She had been versatile in her career and by far also presented on screen, on shows like Adlib and VIP Invite.

When she released her single ‘Dwala’ in 2020, I could not stop marveling at how angelic her voice is.
‘You are’ was a hit that left many people worshipping and praising God.

In many of her accolades, she still holds a humble demeanor and that is rare in the times we live. Her fans flooded her social platforms with congratulatory messages and love on the US record label. “I am so proud to be the first to say that He and Capital Christian Music Group are one!” she shared with her adoring fans.

One thing about our country is the support we have for each other. We have a lot of things to develop and try to fix, but there is one thing we pride ourselves on – and that is SUPPORT for each other. We will support her as we did with others making waves internationally.

It is another win for us as South Africans. Her craft will reach global markets.

The singer has always spoken about her deep relationship with God said,
In her announcement, she said, “Every decision, every step I’ve taken, I didn’t make it alone, I was guided by God and I am so grateful for this next step.”

Congratulations to her. We are looking forward to her spirit-filled projects and quality music.

In addition to the new deal, Hle’s gospel show VIP Invite has been renewed for the second season. Yeyyyy….super excited.

Happy beautiful New Month. May you experience good things in this new month. May you flourish, prosper and thrive in every aspect of your life. You deserve every good thing coming your way. I love you all.
