I’ve had this fear for ages which caused me to look down on myself and doubt my potential.

Fear is a horrible thing. it is irrational and you can’t reason it away. We have to fight constantly with fear.
And sometimes we fear things which are not even there. Its a delusion which we need to constantly fight on a daily basis

There’s nothing wrong to be fearful, actually I researched about positive fears. . .the problem becomes when you give yo and discontinue with what you were doing because of fear.
In psychology 101, one of the subjects was about *Fear*
and it /the difference comprising negative *Fear* & *Positive* fear,
and my class paper on the subject
referred to Negative Fear was the Rule
and Positive Fear was the exception!!!

My take on *Negative Fear* is to fear staying in the house because a dog ran in the street and wasaccidently killed by a car or fear to take a college exam or other thingssimilarly situatuated<My take on *Positive Fear* is to fear of entering places like nightrclubs when violence is the norm, using alcohol to abuse, using cocaine and herion,dropping out of school when education and vocation is necessary to attain a high-end education germane to top notch success and those valuesthat are similarly situated!

While we can try to do things on our own, God is able to help us in dealing with our fears. God is able to put things in order for us and to make things work out for our good. To overcome fear, we need to put God first. God is the king and there is nothing impossible for him to do.
