Shooting my Shot Part3
Heyy Guys….Welcome to my blog. Am going to fully become vulnerable into pouring myself out in giving all my ‘Whys’ into entering Miss South Africa pageant.
Why do you think you are the best candidate for this title?
Am all about change and purpose, specifically for women in South Africa. This platform will give me an opportunity to represent South Africa for what it truly is and become an advocate to drive change and empowering women to be intentional in walking in their purposes and become the best version of themselves.
How are you going to facilitate change in South Africa?
Most people are afraid of change. I’ll firstly become an advocate of change, educate people about the power of the mind. Change begins in the mind. If a mind hasn’t grasped it, nothing else will change.
Why did you decide to enter this competition?
I’ve realised that this platform will give me an opportunity to be a steward and serve my country with honesty as possible.

We want to see women empowered to move forward as a nation. Once a woman is empowered, the whole nation becomes empowered. So far there are huge developments in prioritizing women empowerment.

I believe in relatability. People will relate with my background and where i come from. As a young girl from humble beginnings, I’ll be able to connect with people from different walks of life.

My mother. If there’s any person I want to evolve into is my own mother. She raised me to realize that disability is just a state of mind.

If you could be anyone else besides yourself who would you be?
Any physically challenged person. I’m much fascinated by their thoughts. That’s the reason I want to partner with disabled organizations. I want to empower them with limitless thoughts to realize that disability is not inability.
Do celebrities have a responsibility to be positive role models?
Yes they do have a responsibility. The youth imitates every decision they take. As much as they have to model themselves to be influential, they should also be reminded that they are human and they mistakes too.
